INTERACTIVE PROGRAM GUIDE With the 510 DVR and 721 you have the option of watching and listening to the current program while surfing 4 lines of the guide at time and selecting programs for recording in the future, all at the same time. Or, you can view 6 program listings, without the audio/video. You can also set up 4 custom guides for whatever you like.

ONE TOUCH RECORD Find any program coming up on the guide and press the Select button on the remote. The Event Timer screen will appear and can schedule the program to automatically change to that channel, remind you the program is coming up, or tell your VCR to record the program. The 510 DVR and PVR/DVR 721 also allow you the option to record programs on the hard disk.

CHOOSE BY THEME Press the Theme button on the remote and you can select programs by category. You can also Search for a program by title, actor, your favorite sports team, etc. Select any program for more information, or to schedule it for viewing or recording.

SEARCH THE GUIDE BY KEYWORDS You can enter keywords to find any program. It's like using a search engine on the internet. Enter a key word, like the name of the program, or the name of your favorite actor and it will find the programs for you and you can select the programs for more information, or to schedule them for viewing or recording..

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS AND INFORMATION Click the INFO button to get a description of the program you are watching, or any program listed on any program guide. If the transparent information is hard to read, click INFO again and the information box changes to a white background with bold lettering.

THE TRANSPARENT ONE LINE GUIDE Click the Browse Button to get the One Line Guides. See the name of the program, the current time, when the program started, how much time is left and more. Press the UP or DOWN arrow to quickly scroll through the guide you're using while you continue to watch and listen to the current program.

NEW DISH HOME INTERACTIVE TV Press the "Dish" button to bring up the new interactive menu, or select channel 100. Either way you will bring up the Dish Home Interactive menu. It's a bit like the internet. You can manage your programming account, play video games, get instant news, local weather and a lot more.
