Television has brought families together for as long as it has been around. Some shows make their debut and are not around for even an entire season. Then there are the television shows that capture our hearts and have been on television for years. These are the shows that teach lessons and entertain us.
Full House was on the air for eight years. The show was about a single father raising his three daughters with the help of his brother-in-law and friend. This show always had a moral or life lesson associated with it and reruns can still be seen on television today.

Sesame Street has been a staple in homes of young children for over 40 years. The show features puppets and characters who teach letters and numbers in a fun environment. The show is still on today teaching children and entertaining them.
The Price Is Right is the longest running game show airing for over 45 years. Though the show has changed hosts, it is still airing with new episodes each week.
