National Geographic television has been around for quite some time now and I am actually happy that this channel has been able to broaden their viewers and help educate more people. Though many people have said that this channel is actually boring and should be off of cable, I believe that there is no better channel on TV today. Too often children are watching shows that mean absolutely nothing and it seems like education has definitely gone out the window. Children Read More

In today’s world, with the exception of people electing not to view television for religious or personal reasons, there are probably very few households that do not contain at least one television set. On average, with most being used at least one or more hours of any given day, it makes one wonder how much if anything the average viewer knows about the history of television.

Since most products were invented or pioneered by one person alone, it is interesting to note this was not the Read More

I, like many of you am wondering what fall TV shows are still going to be around next year? I have enjoyed several of the new shows that premiered. Fox’s new show Raising Hope has been a pleasant surprise and I’m sure I’ll be recording it on my DVR next year.

I checked canceled shows,http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/2010-2011-canceled-tv-shows-18757/ for shows that had been canceled this year and I was sad to see Law & Order: Criminal Intent on the list. I thought the addition of Jeff Goldblum was brilliant and Read More

My husband has been dropping hints for years and leaving endless wish lists about installing surround sound in the media room of our home. But since I’m a product of the 80′s generation and can only envision clunky and cumbersome speakers filling every corner, I’ve fought him on this from day one. But he always countered with “it won’t be that way” with a Bose system. You bet I’ve heard of Bose before just as I’m sure everyone else has, too. But I’m here to tell you this: unless you have actually experienced the incredible sound quality, then you really haven’t experienced Bose. Its surround sound quality is absolutely incredible, and my fears of huge speakers filling the corners were totally void once I saw the compact unit and realized how easily it would tuck into any small space. I know I’m not the only woman on this planet who might experience trepidation when imagining the potential invasive physical features of a surround sound system in her home. But I can say without an ounce of hesitation that the Bose system is (and will continue to be) a welcome member of our happy and well entertained household.
